What is an EPC plan?

The Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) program in Australia is a government initiative designed to provide additional support and access to allied health services for individuals with chronic or complex medical conditions. Under the EPC program, eligible patients can receive Medicare rebates for specific allied health services, including physiotherapy, podiatry, occupational therapy, and exercise physiology.

How to use your EPC plan?

To qualify for the EPC program, patients must be assessed by their general practitioner (GP) who determines if they have a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing management from a multidisciplinary team. If eligible, the GP can then create a care plan outlining the patient's healthcare needs and goals, including referrals to allied health professionals.

How do we differ from other clinics that accept EPC plans?

  1. We do not use machines or heat pack to treat you.

  2. One-on-one consultation - no jumping next door to treat someone else.

  3. 30min consults compared to a lot of other bulk billed consults that are 20min

  4. Result and goals based treatment plans

How does billing work?

Billing

We offer bulk billing for referrals from select doctors. For patients whose GP is not on our bulk bill list, there's only a $10 gap fee.

Here's how to redeem your EPC plan:

1. Your doctor refers you for physiotherapy under the EPC plan.
2. Bring your EPC plan with you to your appointment. Depending on the referring doctor, you'll either be bulk billed (free) or charged a $10 gap fee.
